A lost or unreliable remote is one of the most common autogate problems — and usually one of the easiest to solve.
Weak range or intermittent response
Start with a fresh battery. If the remote still only works close to the gate, the receiver, antenna or wiring may need attention, or there may be interference near the gate.
Duplicating a remote
Extra remotes for family members or a replacement for a damaged one can usually be duplicated to match your existing system, so there is no need to change the receiver.
Lost remote and security
If a remote is lost or stolen, the receiver can be reprogrammed so the missing remote no longer opens your gate.
Upgrading receivers and control boards
Older receivers can be replaced or customised to work with newer remotes, add more users, or support extra functions.
We install new or duplicate remote controls, receivers and control boards onsite for all brands. See our remote control services.
